German gambling developer and supplier, JAXX SE formerly JAXXAG announced its highest quarterly revenue results in the history of the company.
The company posted a consolidated revenue of Euro 41 million in Q4/2010 (Q4/2009: Euro 37.3 million) an increase of 10 percent. The increase is attributed to a rise in sports betting, an area the company has been focusing on since its restructuring last year.

The UK minister for tourism and heritage, John Penrose released a statement on the progress of the proposed GBP200 million sale of the UK Tote this week.
The Government has confirmed that the first stage of the open market process has been successful and that eighteen proposals had been received and reviewed (see previous reports) for the purchase of the state-owned betting group.

Creating more than a frisson of interest this week, the Dutch News.nl website reported that Dutch junior finance minister Frans Weekers has revealed that the Netherlands government is considering selling off the state-monopolised Holland Casino group.
The publication directly quoted Weekers as telling members of the Dutch parliament: "We are looking at privatisation. It is not taboo."
